The Care and Equipment You Need

YOUR HEALTH MATTERS

You DO NOT need an appointment to receive home medical equipment from the Blessing Board. You may now walk in through the Vintage Market at our Shaler location on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to request the items you need.

The following items are what we stock and serve to those in need:

  • Canes
  • Walkers
  • Wheelchairs
  • Shower chairs
  • Transfer benches
  • Crutches
  • Bed rails
  • Incontinence supplies

Please note that all items (excluding incontinence supplies) are gently used.

We do not accept the following items:

  • Medications or narcotics
  • Medical supplies (opened, used, expire within 13 months)
  • Homecare beds
  • Powered wheelchairs
  • Scrubs
  • Broken anything
  • Portable commodes
  • Feeding Bags
  • CPAP or BiPAP machines or accessories
  • Defibrillators or accessories
  • Glucometers or test strips
  • Dialysis supplies
  • Mercury-containing devices
  • Chemicals, reagents or hazardous waste
  • Oxygen tanks
  • Liquid nutrition (tube fed or powdered)
  • Motorized scooters
  • Stuffed animals or clothing
  • Books
  • Inhalers
  • Styrofoam of any kind
  • Stairlifts
